Under the streamlined student visa processing arrangements, eligible student visa applicants from participating education providers are not assigned an assessment level. If you are eligible for streamlined visa processing you will generally have reduced evidentiary requirements, similar to those that apply under Assessment Level 1, regardless of your country of origin.
SCBIT has been approved to participate in the Australian Government’s Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP) on the 24 Jun 2015 by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
SCBIT believes that the initiative will benefit many international students by streamlining the visa application process from lower evidentiary requirements, regardless of their country of citizenship with either low or high visa categories risk, and generally simpler and quicker visa processing particularly from

Therefore, we at SCBIT understand that, in the implementation of the SVP arrangement, the ultimate responsibility of recruiting good quality students and to guide them to a secure future lies with the institute and its representatives.
SVP arrangement provides an opportunity for the students to access quicker, simpler visa processing particularly from Visa Assessment Level 2 and 3 countries.
SCBIT agent in your home country will assist you with the application and guide you through the streamlined visa process. You may require attending an interview with SCBIT’s administration staff after we receive your application.
You can commence your ELICOS course or other lower level such as Certificate or Diploma, as long as your highest level is at Advanced Diploma level. When you apply for a packaged course, you will receive a student visa for the whole period of your study.
Please note: You need to ensure that you make the right decision on what course you would like to choose at SCBIT. Once your student visa is approved in SVP arrangement, changing course will not be an easy step. Changing providers will be a hard task and could lead to visa cancellations when done in an inappropriate manner. It is strongly advised that you discuss your intention and your course selection with SCBIT’s authorised representative before making a decision to opt for a streamlined visa.
