About SCBIT


	SCBIT was established and is owned by highly dedicated, educated and experienced academics and administrators who have more than 100 years of cumulative experience working in the Australian higher education industry and vocational sector. SCBIT endeavors to provide high quality and relevant tertiary and vocational education to Australian and overseas students at Sydney.

	VETAB Accredited and Nationally Recognized Qualifications
	SCBIT offers VETAB accredited and nationally recognized diplomas and advanced diplomas in Business and Information Technology. These courses help SCBIT students to develop the necessary academic skills to excel in their future university studies.

	University Programs

	Southern Cross University (SCU) is an Australian public university, proud of the quality of its graduates, awards, and research achievements. SCBIT collaborates with SCU to offer Business and IT programs both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. In its Business programs, SCU offers Bachelor of Business Administration as a Degree Link program, Bachelor of Business in Management and Accounting, Master of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accounting. In its IT programs, SCU offers Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), Bachelor of Applied Computing (BAC) as a Degree Link program, and Graduate Diploma of Information Technology (GDIT). These are offered to Australian and International students at SCBIT’s Sydney George Street campus.

	English Programs

	SCBIT has an educational partnership with the English Language Company and the Universal English College Global Village to place the students who require English Language Study in order to qualify for entry into SCBIT programs.

	Pathway to Higher Education

	The VETAB accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma of IT, offered by SCBIT, articulate to Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Bachelor of Applied Computing (BAC) programs offered by Southern Cross University at SCBIT’s Sydney George St. campus. The VETAB accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Management, offered by SCBIT, articulate to Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business (Accounting), and Bachelor of Business (Management) programs offered by Southern Cross University at SCBIT’s Sydney George St. campus.

	CRICOS Registration

	In accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000, SCBIT is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

	Tuition Fee Assurance

	SCBIT has membership with the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and is a member of ACPET’s Overseas Students Tuition Assurance Scheme (OSTAS)
